Women In Worship of Lexington is a ministry-centered, community-focused Association dedicated to the unification and up-lifting of Lexington and surrounding communities. Women in Worship of Lexington was birthed out of a vision over a year ago, to create opportunities in our city to empower and impact the community to achieve this unification.  The committee has embraced this God-given vision, and is in hot pursuit of this initiative becoming a continued reality. Women in Worship has had complete success with every project since its inception, including attendance of 1,000 or more persons at each of the community events sponsored thus far. Special guests have included music recording artists, the city of Lexington’s Mayor, as well as District Councilpersons, and other renowned Community Leaders.

Our main focus is to continue creating opportunities and events that will facilitate bridging the divide among religion, race, and economic persuasions, and to focus on areas of commonality, as opposed to areas of differentiation within our community.
